Manuscript Evaluation
Aretea Academic provides a rigorous appraisal of the status of the manuscript.
Strengths and weaknesses, the level of writing, structure, composition, grammatical and typographical errors, the quality of argumentation, robustness of conclusions, and the adequacy of the bibliographical sources are examined.
We cover the needs of different academic projects: journal articles, books, theses and dissertations, and other manuscripts.
Plagiarism Check is available at the client's request under a separate quote.
Manuscript Evaluation does not include editing.
Review and Editing
Aretea Academic verifies that the manuscript complies with the required academic criteria of style, concreteness, precision, and consistency.
Two types of editing services are offered to help polish and improve the manuscript, always preserving the author's voice and the tone of the original text:
Standard Editing
- Correction of grammatical, syntactical, spelling, punctuation, and typographical errors. Clarity, consistency, and citation/reference formatting style are checked.
Substantive Editing
- A more in-depth comprehensive editing process for authors who want to refine the manuscript's narrative flow, style, structure, or argumentative quality, revise or develop content, and adapt citation/reference formatting according to publishers' guidelines.
Proofreading - This service is for those manuscripts in their final version that only require surface error checking.

Journal Selection Assistance
Aretea Academic offers
expert assistance in selecting suitable journals for submission based on the area of study and topic and the journal's editorial line.
A report will be delivered with detailed information on the options recommended, with an overall assessment of the manuscript to determine whether it meets the journal's guidelines.
